FMU is hosting a Catch Wrestling seminar on Febuary 7th, 2009 - 10:00am to 3:00pm at the low price of admission of $65! Tim McFatridge, founder of Integrated Submission Grappling and co-founder of the Jeet Kune Do Kali Association, is an excellent source of knowledge and an awesome instructor. He is also a second generation Bruce Lee instructor under the late Larry Hartsell. Price is $65 and you must RSVP in order to guarantee your spot as space is limited.

FMU is hosting a Texas Parkour Workshop on January 24th, 2009. The workshop will begin at 11:00am and last 2-4 hours depending everyones ability to continue. The primary focus will be the attribute training that Parkour practioners use to prepare for the feats they are able to accomplish. Sam Bowman, assistant coach at Fighting Method University and member of the FMU Fight Team won is recent bout at Cowboys (Arlington) on December 6th against Jason Wilson. The match lasted 1:20 and was won via submission due to repeated strikes.
